A while back I made these for a good friend who was having surgery. I had never done a pillow before and really enjoyed making these and was pleased with the way they turned out! The pillow pattern is called the "Flower Garden Pillow" and can be found at http://www.freepatterns.com/list.html?cat_id=317 The back of the pillow is totally different than the front, but the flowers tie the colors together.
The roses are quick and easy to make and I used this pattern: http://megan.kiwi.gen.nz/StripMethodRose/ you have to page down to see the pattern, but it is there! Kelsey painted the pot for me and did a fantastic job!

These were made for me and I love them all! The flowers are in my living room. They make you smile when you look at them. Someday I will try to make some.
As far as the pillow. It is adorable. I keep it on my bed all the time. I love it!
